Santa traded in his sleigh for a surfboard, and the elves brought sunscreen instead of snow—come celebrate Christmas in July with a gnome-tastic beach-themed cookie decorating class!

As part of the week-long festivities at 9 Mile Garden, we're decking the palms and bringing you a sweet escape with these sunny holiday helpers. You'll decorate six large, bakery-style sugar cookies featuring vacationing gnomes (think: tropical drinks, surfboards, sunshine, and sandy beaches), all while learning royal icing techniques like outlining, flooding, and fun details with piping.

Bobbie will guide you step-by-step, so whether you're a total beginner or a cookie pro, you’ll leave with a box full of cookies that are equal parts festive and beachy. They’re soft, chewy, and bursting with lemony goodness—almost too cute to eat... almost.

🎄All tools and materials are included—just bring your holiday spirit and a love for sunshine! Whether you’re flying solo or bringing your own gnomie crew, it’s going to be a holly-jolly, sun-soaked good time!

Please note that outside food and drinks are not permitted in the venue, with the exception of cookie decorating activities. 9 Mile has a full bar on-site and regularly schedule food trucks in the evenings for dinner!
